A Forum Post from Richard Senne
In addition to the kind words Richard wrote that are presented on the testimonials page, nearly 2/3 of the way through the system Richard posted about an experience he had with FAST. We thought it would be helpful to share it, to demonstrate what FAST is really all about. Richard kindly agreed to our reprinting of his comments:
I've had an 'aha' moment!
I was at a conference in Columbus, the State capital [of Ohio]...
I met a lovely lady who has a really amazing story. She has a book out and we got to talking and I sound like I know what I'm doing (well don't I? Of course I do) and she asked me to take her book and her life and make a movie out of it. And I agreed. I'm writing her story as of now! This is a story that will make people cry, some sad some happiness. It's a story of forgiveness of others. ....
... I was able to use what I've learned in FAST to quickly pull out the whole movie, and in about 20 minutes I had a clear outline that we used to lay out the movie. That was yesterday. She called me today just to make sure I wasn't a dream she had. Isn't that amazing? ...
I'm just blown away at how easily it was to be able to structure a movie on the fly just from listening to someone talk. After listening for 1 1/2 hours (she gave a talk on her book), I knew the chronological order and could see how to rearrange it to make the opening effective for a visual hook. I could just see it. After she was done we talked and I wrote the whole thing down right in front of her. She was blown away, but so was I. It just proves to me again that FAST works. And it also shows me how deep into my mind it's gotten because of the way it's presented. You've done a masterful job.
I think what fascinates me is how the left and right side of the brain can work together in harmony after learning the FAST system.
... Amazing.
