Before you start writing

1. The Setup Phase

   First, you'll prepare for the marathon of writing — setting up habits and techniques that will guarantee you complete any massive project. Then, you'll prepare for the business of writing movies, understanding exactly what producers are looking for — so your creativity is in sync with industry needs.

2. The Focus Phase

   First, you'll gather all your ideas and identify the ideal project, and then extract the most out of it. You'll build it organically into a compelling screen story, with powerful characters, rock solid structure, awesome scenes, subplots, subtext, a dynamic story world, and tons more. Lastly, you'll go way beyond the obvious and cliché, and shape it into a riveting audience experience, and create a roadmap that will guide you through the writing process.
   
   
   
   
   

3. The Apply Phase

   Next, you'll blast out your first draft. With your roadmap there to keep you on target, stray ideas become a powerful tool rather than a frustrating distraction. 4. The Strengthen Phase

   Getting it from brain to page is just the beginning. Now it's time to turn those pages into exactly the story you wanted to write. You'll examine what you've got and take a crystal clear and comprehensive path through the rewrite. You'll move step by step from the broad "big-picture" fixes to the narrow "fine-detail" adjustments as you strengthen every element of your screenplay, leaving no stone unturned. 5. The Tweak Phase

   Finally, you'll turn your solid draft into a gripping page-turner the reader can't put down. Here, you'll focus on the speed of the read, designing pages that are absolutely irresistible to the reader — pages that hook your audience into a dazzling experience no reader will ever forget.

6. The Alignment Phase

   Writing an amazing story is one thing; writing a professional production-ready screenplay is a whole new level. Now it's time to transform your page-turner into exactly what the producer needs it to be. 7. The Payoff Phase

   With a page-turner screenplay that's exactly what the producer needs, you're ready to create a one-of-a-kind marketing plan that's specific to you and your project. Here you'll create a direct path to the sale that connects you with the producer for whom your project is perfect. This is literally step by step to the sale. Then, the final steps of the system snap the whole picture into place so that each phase becomes intuitively linked, which amplifies your results on every future project.
